Many of you have indicated to me, that you are either looking for a new role, or are looking to build your team. I’ve always felt that a career is like a triangular relationship (yeah, I like the triangular love stories, like Eco-economics) between:
market structure - such as commodities, utilities, monopolies, and those with high competitive moats
demand for your skills - such as flavouring everything with AI currently. It keeps changing
your own agency - whether you are high skilled, well connected, deliver excellent results, and/or know how to manage stakeholders
I could have drawn a diagram, but hey, I am writing this on a Sunday night and I thought, let me get this off my chest.
My request is very simple. Before you go all out with your search, could you consider talking to fellow professionals on this forum, who are just like you?
